PRIZEGIVING!

On the 12th of 12th our school celebrated our
final assembly by calling it prizegiving. Unlike a
normal assembly we sang songs and given sitfics.

Our class played a instrumental of silent night, with
glockenspiels, ukuleles and the peace of residence

sign language.

Jack Cole

I want out James, not so fast Jack before you leave we can't afford any loose ends
so that's a liability, your a loose end Jack so that makes you a liability. I'm out James,
just know that wants your in this life there is no way out. The past catches up with you
Jack and this time there is no escape, I'll take the risk.
“This is not good, not good at all, said James.
He's just one man you have a small army, said Mark.
Listen Mark, said James in a forceful tone. “Jack Cole is not just one man he's a monster,
the task I gave him was nearly impossible and there he was before our bloody eyes,
said James.
I'll send some men after him, said Mark.
Fine but if they fail you've unleashed the beast, said James.

*5 hours later*
We arrived at his apartment, remember be, silent move in, move in,
"Building apartment explodes", " Car in parking lot takes off". "Present day".
“It looks like a building explosion,” said Michel.
“What did they find in the house”, said Alisha.
“A safe holding guns, bombs almost every deadly weapon sold from the
black market.” she replied. “Who was the building registered to”? asked Alisha.
Ummm it's registered to a John W.
“But he's been dead for over 20 years, said Michel.
“So fake name. I'm telling you Michel it's him,” said Alisha.
“How do you know it's your guy’? said Michel.
“Trust me Michel it is he's been a ghosest for over 5 years you'll never
find him except for a grave. Well whoever it is there long gone!”

(Arrives at friends garage)
“Hey Mike," said Jack.
"Hi kid what do you need," said Mike.
"I need a new car," said Jack.
"Ok the car you stole for me last week I modified it," said Mike.
"How," said Jack.
"Well it's painted gold with bullet proof tires and I special
tag in your name, said Mike
"Wow it's like expecting me, said Jack
"No... not really just that the building blowing up was a big sign that
it was you so yah," said Mike
"Sure thing old man. I'll take it Mike," said Jack.
"Sure thing kid see you around Jack," said Mike. See you around to old
man," said Jack.
"Hey kid remember, It's always the punch you don't see coming that puts
you down," said Mike.
"Sure thing," said Jack.

*17 hours later*
"So Mich how's the wife, good, good," said some dude.
"What are doing out here any way, keeping watch for a gold car.
AHH look out. "Get hit by car". Where is James, On the top floor trying to
leave the city. "Kicks open the door and start killing everyone in sight". I have
finally reached the top. Hello James, said Jack. Hello Cole, said James. Long time no see.

Hey Jack listen…. listen, it's just business, said James.
Sure James, sure james. "Well I guess this is where you end and I we’ll live on,
said Jack Cole.
I've had enough of your stupid gold car, said James.
"James is shot dead in the face and Jack well lets just say that you'll be seeing

Disaster

In a earthquake your injuries could might be bruises, cuts, concussion,
head injury, loss of memory or permanent loss of all memory
from being struck by a falling object or by suffocating and
passing out from the lack of air which can cause brain cells to die.

If you are cut the fastest way to seal it, is by sowing the
open cut of skin to stop the bleeding or wash of the blood and
put a plaster on. But if you are stuck in the situation where there is
no first aid kit around wrap your T-shirt around the open wound. If a
person is unconscious, check they are breathing and if not you will need
to give them CPR or mouth to mouth resuscitation and try to wait until
emergency services arrive.

But if I would be in the situation with a open wound I would use my shirt to
wrap around my arm and call out for emergency services. But if I am
unconscious I would rather prefer have CPR done to me.

If you are stuck in any natural disaster I would advise
for you to get help immediately after the disaster has
struck or get to safe position where you are safe from
harm and away from any possible flying objects.
But stay safe and out of danger.

How can we use Advent to open ourselves and let Jesus a bigger part of our lives?

Our attitudes can be changed by the way we think and the way that we all think about others and how we should treat them for how they would like to be treated themselves.

Jesus is apart of our lives all the time and we should acknowledge that he is with us in the time of need and the time of anger, sadness and joy.

We should follow those who have followed in the steps and paths of Jesus. By praying asking forgiveness for your sins.

We should prepare for the coming of Jesus by praying and going to Church.

Waiting for arrival.

Astria: My partner an I collaborating

On a scale of 1-5, how successfully did you problem solve with your partner today? Please include any ways you would collaborate differently with them next time you play.
My partner and I collaborated very well and got through the the quest line very quick. Every time we would have a turn we would discover new things and finishing some the side quest for the other rooms like the Nuke plant, Hanger bay and more. It was fun having a partner but I wonder how it would be like to not have a partner and would it be difficult?

On a scale of 1-5 I think our collaboration was is my a pinon a 4 out of 5.

Astria - Countdown to Impact

A student in another school has recently blogged that:

“Students don’t learn much playing this game called Astria – Countdown to Impact: Their time could be better spent doing other things”.

I partly agree because there time can be used for other things but they can learn lots from playing Astria - Countdown to Impact because it can up your interest in reading sci-fi books. So you can learn things from this game but it might take up time because of the story line but I thinks it is a good and interesting game,

Safe play!

How do you play safe?

The way to play safe on the playground is to keep clear of other children and if you are climbing
try to avoid other children in case you fall. We can keep safe by not pushing others
off the park because it could lead to someone crying or landing on someone else.
When we are playing we should watch out for
other people especially when running around corners.
We can also not play with dangerous objects on the park or any where.
We should not chuck a object because you might hurt someone or worse blind them.

We can prevent all of this by thinking before pushing someone and laughing about
it because you wouldn't like it if somebody did it to you. We can also prevent
others from colliding by checking around the corners first before just going
around and someone runs into you.

We could also make sure we use appropriate words on the park. Don't call
someone a sore loser because they might rage and not like it at all. We should
include others in the games we play so they don't go off and play a game that's not
safe and hurt someone.

Today we played a board game that involved maths and I was in a group of three.
The board game was called Addition Adder.

(How to play)
  1. The first player shall roll the dice.
  2. Add the number on the dice to the number on space that you are on then you must go forward the many spaces.
  3. If the player is incorrect they must go return to the they started on.
Pretty simple (aye).

(How I know I was focused)

I was focused because you know the rules that I showed I exactly played it by those rules.
When I played the game I had all the luck but I was focus because every number I landed on I added it and I always got it right and I watched how my group played the game their way.

Having a fun bike ride!

During the Christmas holidays, my Nan and I biked down to Mission Bay and when we got down there we biked around some more. When we were riding around we saw some interesting cars like a Nissan GTR R35 and you don't find those everywhere, it also sounded cool.

After that we biked around some more, I also got to play at the park and in the sand. We saw a Pizza shop so we decided to buy some Pizza plus a Coke. When they were done making the Pizza we took it a nice sitting area on the grass and we ate the Pizza there. It was disgusting so we threw it away.

Once we were finished putting the rubbish Pizza in the bin I finished my Coke and we made our way back to the Pizza place to get our money back.

After that we went home. On the way there we  saw even more interesting cars and they also sounded cool. I got tired going home because I had to bike up a hill. But it was a fun day except for eating that rubish Pizza.

How does he feel!

At the Pools

The Pools

On Thursday my Nan and I went to the pools for the day and when we entered the building there was a short line but as soon as we got to the counter my Nan bought me a diving board pass and a slide pass as well.

After we had paid, we got what we needed and we walked to the outdoor pool and as soon as we opened the gate I straight away jumped into the pool and the water was nice and cold.

After I had jumped in I climbed out and ran to the the hydra slide and I  had to show the lifeguard my wristband but after that I ran up even though your not allowed to do that I did it anyway but when I got to the top I had to wait for the line which was only 3 people but when it was my turn I went down the slide and it was awesome.

On the slide I was on there for about 26 minutes but then I decided to hop off but 10 or 20 minutes the slide closed and the diving board so then I was board but not so long after my friend PG showed up and we played until it was time for me and him to go but it was fun playing with him but then we had a talk well getting changed then we left and did our secret hand shake.

I am learning to add detail to my main ideas to inform my readers.
