On the 12th of 12th our school celebrated our
final assembly by calling it prizegiving. Unlike a
normal assembly we sang songs and given sitfics.

Our class played a instrumental of silent night, with
glockenspiels, ukuleles and the peace of residence

sign language.

  1. Hi Te Raiana,

It’s Leslie here, writing to you from Canada where it’s very cold and snowy. Hard for you to imagine, I’m sure! I’m a member of the Summer Learning Journey team and I notice that you've posted a lovely photo from your prizegiving assembly. Well done!

I think you might really enjoy some of the activities in the Summer Learning Journey program because they give you a chance to create posters and pictures, to write a story or a poem, to learn about the unusual and unique animals and plants that are found in your beautiful country. And you can share your blog with your classmates, many of whom are participating in the program this summer. Fun!

There are still 3 full weeks left to participate in the Summer Learning Journey program called “The World Around Us”. Here’s the website address: I hope you’ll take a look and try some of the activities. I’ll look for your postings and write back to you from Canada.

Meanwhile, have a really happy summer holiday!!
