I agree that fire fighters are heroes because they can save people from a burning house.They can rescue our pets that are stuck  
up in the tree.They can put out fire and they can get people out of 
the burning car.
 Fire fighters can also teach us how to be safe.They also teach us not play with fire.They can get you to safety when you are not in a safe place during a fire.The fire fighters can get you out of a car when it get jammed when you crashed.They put out forest fires.They can save  lives that are in danger.Fire fighters risk their life to save us.

                      How to grow a carrot tree

Materials: a carrot top,a small container,a jug of water.

Steps:

1.Cut the carrot top.

2.Put the carrot top on a small container.

3.Put some water on the container.

4.Put the container with carrot top on the window sill where the sun shines.

5.Watch it grow,

Riding My Bike

In the holidays my dad and I went bike riding around the Panmure Basin and to the Skate Park.  First we biked around the Panmure Basin.  I saw a lot of trees and some people.  Some people were pushing their babies around, some people were running and other people were bike riding.  There were two boats heading out to sea.  They were both small boats.  Riding around the Panmure Basin felt windy and it was fun.

Next we went to the Skate Park.  At the Skate Park I biked up and down. I went down one ramp really fast.  My dad lay down and listened to his music on his speaker.  I saw a man on his jet ski.  Later we went home and I told Nana and Granddad about my fun day.

In The Holidays

One day in the holidays I went bike riding with my dad.  We rode to the petrol station together.  When I slowed down I fell off my bike.  I broke my arm again for the second time.  It was the same arm and I broke it in the same place.  This is why I am now wearing a sling to school. 

After I fell off my bike my dad took me to the doctors.  Then my dad had to take me to Starship Hospital.  Starship Hospital is the hospital for children. 

At the hospital the doctors put my arm in a cast.  I had to stay in hospital for a day and a night.  I didn’t get much sleep because there was a girl in my ward that was allergic to bees and she kept crying.  My arm wasn’t that painful and I didn’t cry.  The next night the doctors were happy with the way my arm was healing and so I got to go home. 

My Birthday

In the holidays it was my birthday.  For my birthday I got a special surprise from my dad.  It was a play station.  I played some war games on my new play station.  It was a bit easy and a bit scary.  It was fun though.  In the game the aliens appeared out of nowhere.  I had to kill them and they had stronger guns than me.  The gun was called Red I.  I had to push the L button on the gun to shoot the glowing bullet at the aliens.  If you get close to the aliens you can hit them with your gun.  I was able to do this to the walking aliens.  They reminded me of the Zombies. 

Once you are on Level 3 and you complete it the aliens shoot down a Spier attack.  A Spier looks like a rocket ship but it is a missile.  When the missile hits the ground it lets out alien bugs.  The bugs crawled all over my character and went into his mouth.  My character’s name is Sargent Hales.  In the game he is call Sarg.

My dad said that I got a bit scared but there are even scarier levels.  But I really enjoyed it.  Playing Levels 1 and 2 were the most fun.
