Sand dunes are created by nature!

Learning intention: We are learning to identify key information from the text that I have read.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I can find five important facts about sand dunes from the article that I have read.

How did you spend your weekend?

On Saturday,  I got up and had breakfast. After breakfast I went into the living room and turned on Drake and Josh. When it the show had finished, I got my Phone and played my games.

The game I was playing was Block city wars and it is a fun game because you can make friends in there.

The next game I played was Roblox, roblox is a game with

one million other games inside of it,  you can also make friends while playing it. The games I play in Roblox were Grand blox auto, Box yourself and tycoon and my Roblox name is Ryansterhacker.

Then I went to my room and played on my playstation 3. The game I was playing was watch dogs 2. Watch dogs 2 is a multiplayer game but you can also play on single player and the game was made in san francisco.

Then my dad told me that we were going to the park. It felt like forever before we got there. As soon as we got out of the car I ran to the flying fox. The park was a bit wet because it was rained earlier on.

I went on the flying fox six times then I hopped off. But I decided to go  back for three more turns before we went home.

The next day which was Sunday, I did exactly what I did on Saturday morning playing games. After that I got my skateboard and raced my Dad up and down the street.

When we came back to the house, we went straight to the backyard and played throw and kick for three hours and we had so much fun.

Then we went inside and I played on my phone for the rest of the day

My favourite part of the weekend is when played throw and kick because it was so much fun and I we can do it again.

I hope she gets to play again!

We need to cool down our common home!

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand how heat energy is lost from buildings and to explain how these losses can be reduced.Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write 6 ways to reduce heat energy.

I had so much fun learning to skateboard!

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a verbal recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I record a verbal recount of our skateboarding lesson.

Lent is a very important season in the Liturgical calendar!

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand the importance of Lent.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I find six interesting facts about Lent.

Skateboarding is fun!

On Monday we had P.E. and our P.E. was skateboarding. After we had put on all the gear in the bottom court, our first lesson began.

Our coaches names where Aiden and Mr Boot. First Aiden showed us how to put protective gear on.

  
 First we put on the knee pads and it only took us 2 minutes. Then we we put on the elbow pads. After that, we put on the helmets, Lastly  we put on our wristbands.

When we had finished we ail got a skateboard each. Then he showed us how to push forward on our skateboards with one foot on and one foot off.

   
 When I was pushing the skateboard, I found it hard but then it became easier the more I practised. He also showed us how to push off and then stand on the skateboard.

    
 He showed us how to stand on it properly by positioning also he showed us how to petition your front foot in the middle when we put our back foot on.

    
 After he showed us what to do, we tried it and I was really good. I found it really easy to do.

     
He let us do it 5 times. In one of those times, someone fell off their skateboard. After we’ve had 5 turns, it was the end of the lesson. So we said goodbye to Aiden and Mr.Boot.

My favourite part of the story lesson was when we had to put our feet on the skateboard because it was easy and quick to do.
